Thermal Switch
Attic Breeze solar attic vents ship standard with a thermal switch included to control the operation of the vent based on the temperature of the attic. The thermal switch minimizes attic heat loss during colder months and extends the run life of the unit. Removal of the thermal switch allows the solar attic fan to be operated continuously, where attic temperature does not control fan operation.

SIZING: SIZING IS IMPORTANT - Call for help if you need it! 25 Watt covers 2300SF of attic space. Calculate Attic Space carefully. If single story use SF of home + attached garage space. If 2 story, use 1/2 or similar SF of home. If you have a black roof tile, add 15% more to your SF. If you have radiant barrier, subtract 10% less. If you have 4/12 pitch roof, you can use SF. If you have 8/12, 10/12, or 12/12, add another 20% SF due to the increased volume of air space. AND ABOVE ALL, ENSURE YOU HAVE GOOD SOFFIT VENTING! CALL us for sizing help. 281-298-0400.
